How do I list my nursery on Find My Nursery?

Go to findmynursery.net and click Add Your Nursery School. Fill in your school details, submit, and our team will review and approve your listing within 1–2 business days. Basic listings are free.

Is listing my nursery free?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a basic listing is completely free. You only pay if you choose to upgrade to Premium, which unlocks analytics, the enquiries inbox, the QR promotion tool, and priority search placement.

Question 3

How long does it take for my listing to go live?

Accepted Answer

Once you submit, our team reviews your listing within 1–2 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once it is live and visible to parents.

How do I update my nursery profile?

Accepted Answer

Log in to your dashboard at findmynursery.net/dashboard and click Edit Nursery Profile in the left sidebar. Open the section you want to update, make your changes and click Save. For address, fees, hours, and photos, use Edit Listing via GeoDirectory.

How do I add or update my photos?

Accepted Answer

Photos are managed through GeoDirectory. Log in to your dashboard, click Edit Listing, scroll to the Photos section, click Add Photos, upload your images, and save. Upload at least 4–6 high-quality photos including classrooms, outdoor areas, and facilities.

What does Premium include?

Premium unlocks: full analytics tab showing views and clicks, an enquiries inbox to receive and respond to parent messages, the Promote Your Nursery QR code download tool, priority search ranking to appear higher in results, and Top Picks placement in neighbourhood pages.

How do I upgrade to Premium?

Log in to your dashboard, click Growth Options in the left sidebar or click Upgrade to Premium on any locked feature, review what is included, click Upgrade Now, and complete payment via PayFast. Premium features activate immediately after payment confirmation.

Question 8

What is the Verified badge and how do I get it?

Accepted Answer

The Verified badge appears on your public profile to show parents that your school has been vetted by our team. It is granted manually by Find My Nursery — not automatic with Premium. To apply, email admin@findmynursery.net with your registration documents.

How do I view and respond to parent enquiries?

Log in to your dashboard and click Enquiries in the left sidebar. You will see all parent messages with their name, email, phone number, child's age, and message. Reply directly to the parent via email or phone. Responding within 24 hours significantly increases your chance of securing an enrollment.

How do I get more enquiries from parents?

Five actions that increase enquiries: (1) Complete your profile to 100%. (2) Add your WhatsApp number on Premium. (3) Set your enrollment status to Open for Registration. (4) Collect reviews from current parents. (5) Share your QR code on your school WhatsApp group, Facebook, and reception desk.

How do I update my enrollment status?

From your dashboard home tab, find the Live Nursery Status section. Select your current status: Open for Registration, Limited Spaces, Waitlist Open, Fully Booked, Tours Available, or Temporarily Closed. Click Save Status — it updates on your public profile immediately.

What does my Analytics tab show?

Accepted Answer

The Analytics tab (Premium only) shows: Views this month, WhatsApp clicks, Call clicks, Email clicks, Directions, and Enquiry opens. You also get a 30-day dual-line chart showing Views vs Engagement, and an engagement breakdown table for the current month.

What is the Promote Your Nursery QR code?

The Promote Your Nursery tool generates a QR code linked directly to your public profile page. Download it, print it, and place it in your reception, on parent notice boards, on flyers, or share it on WhatsApp and social media.

How do I add my WhatsApp number?

Accepted Answer

Go to Dashboard, click Edit Nursery Profile, open the Social Media & Contact Links section, enter your WhatsApp number in format 0712345678 or 27712345678, and click Save Social Links. WhatsApp only displays publicly if you are on the Premium plan.

What is the Profile Completion score?

Your completion score shows how complete your profile is from 0% to 100%. A higher score improves your search ranking and builds parent trust. Key fields include: registration number, address, phone, email, photos, description, category, fees, Facebook page, business hours, WhatsApp, meals provided, and languages.

How do I encourage parents to leave reviews?

Share your profile link via WhatsApp or Facebook and ask parents to leave a review. You can also use your Promote Your Nursery QR code — parents scan it, land on your profile, and can leave a review directly.

How does billing and payment work?

Accepted Answer

Premium subscriptions are processed via PayFast, which accepts credit and debit cards, EFT, and Mobicred. You receive an invoice by email after each payment.

Does Find My Nursery comply with POPIA?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Parent and nursery owner data is handled securely, not sold to third parties, and you can request data removal at any time.

Can I manage my school from a mobile phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the dashboard is mobile-responsive. You can log in from any smartphone browser at findmynursery.net/dashboard to update your status, check enquiries, and view your profile.

What if I get a negative review?

Respond calmly and professionally. Acknowledge the concern, explain your school's approach, and invite the parent to contact you directly to resolve the matter.

Question 21

How does my school rank higher in search results?

Accepted Answer

Ranking is influenced by profile completion score, Premium status, review count and rating, recency of updates, and location relevance. Complete your profile fully, stay on Premium, and actively collect reviews.

Question 22

What happens when my Premium expires?

Accepted Answer

When your Premium subscription expires, your listing remains live but premium features are locked until you renew. Your data and school information are never deleted.

Can I list a home-based or informal nursery?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we welcome all types of early childhood facilities including home-based crèches, informal educare centres, and playgroups.
