Ainos takes its name from the Greek word for “praise to God,” a fitting title for a school founded on 1 November 2004 by Carol Snyman, whose love for children shaped its direction from day one. What started as a modest school in The Reeds grew steadily until larger premises became necessary, and in 2019 — some fifteen years on — the school settled into its current home in Rooihuiskraal, where the drive to shape future leaders remains as strong as ever.
Built on a solid reputation and a welcoming atmosphere, Ainos employs qualified, caring teachers who bring genuine enthusiasm to their work. Active, hands-on learning covers five core areas: thinking skills, social and emotional growth, speech and language, and both fine and gross motor coordination. A spacious outdoor area gives children room to move, explore and learn through play.
