Akkerdoppies Pre-Primary is a non-profit school in La Colline, Stellenbosch, offering high-quality, affordable preschool education to children from Idas Valley, Cloetesville and Kayamandi. We care for children between 2 and 5 years old, teaching in both Afrikaans and English, with a clear vision: to get every child school-ready by educating and nurturing them. Around 160 children are looked after by 10 teachers and a wider team of 25 staff, supported by an occupational therapist and our Reading Eggs literacy programme. We provide breakfast, lunch and two snacks each day, and our hours run from 7:00 to 17:30. As an NPO, we rely on the generosity of donors who believe, as we do, that today’s little acorns are set to become mighty trees. Come and see the difference a caring, affordable start can make.
