From the year a child turns 4 until the year they turn 6, Barkly House Kenilworth Pre-Primary School runs a structured three-year programme built on a single guiding idea: holistic growth through play, pursued at each child’s own pace.
Rather than following one theorist, the school blends several respected frameworks — cognitive development ideas from Piaget and Montessori, Bruner’s belief in learning through environment and discovery, and Vygotsky’s emphasis on teacher interaction and language growth.
