Die Wingerd Pre-Primary sits at the foot of the Helderberg in Somerset West and opened in 1980. A dual-medium school, it has grown to five classes and around 135 learners, with six teachers and six class assistants. Alongside its pre-primary programme it offers aftercare and holiday care for working parents, and is one of the most established preschools in the Helderberg basin.
