Happy Days Pre-Primary has served Somerset West since 1972, moving to its current Parel Vallei premises in 1976. An independent pre-primary partially subsidised by the provincial education department, it accommodates around 90 learners across two Grade R classes and one Grade RR class, supported by nine permanent staff including teaching assistants.
