Back in 1993, a single classroom, seventeen children and one dedicated teacher named Janine McBeth marked the beginning of Keurboom Nursery School. Decades later, the school still calls a charming old Rondebosch home its own, complete with lush gardens and generous space to run and play outdoors, making it one of the area’s most established early learning centres.
Janine remains at the helm today, leading a warm, energetic team that treats every child’s wellbeing as top priority. Families and staff here come from all walks of life, and the mix of backgrounds helps children grow into thoughtful, respectful little people. Youngsters join from 18 months and stay through Grade R, and local primary schools consistently praise how well-prepared, confident and well-mannered Keurboom graduates are.
