What began life as a small playschool and aftercare centre in a residential home has grown, step by step, into Kids’ Academy — a full preschool running through to Grade R. Growth continued in 2019 with the launch of the K-Academy Learning Centre, extending provision all the way to Grade 12, following the CAPS curriculum and operating as a registered Impaq Centre. By 2020 the school had registered with the WCED as an Independent Combined School, giving learners a further alternative alongside Impaq.
Today the school operates from new premises centrally located between Strand and Somerset West on Mills Street, just off Main Road and Broadway Boulevard.
