Back in 2008, local preacher Pieter Barnard dreamed of building a preschool alongside his church, and despite plenty of uncertainty, that vision became reality. Kinder Ark Courtrai opened in January 2009 with 63 children, reached full capacity by March, and has kept growing ever since. By 2012, the opportunity arose to launch a second campus on Val de Vie Estate, and as demand kept outpacing space, the school relocated in October 2016 to a purpose-built facility with room for 140 children.
Set within the scenic surrounds of Val de Vie Estate, the new campus offers roomy, well-equipped classrooms alongside expansive outdoor play areas.
