Stepping Stones Children’s Centre has been making a difference in central Cape Town since 1976, and we believe every child deserves the highest standard of nurturing, education and care regardless of their circumstances. We cater for children between the ages of 3 and 6, grouped across four classes including Grade R, so that teaching and care are tailored to each stage. Every child is encouraged to reach their full potential, to celebrate differences, and to embrace an anti-bias approach from an early age. Our doors open at 07:00 and we wave goodbye at 17:30, Monday to Friday, following the Western Cape school terms while staying open through most holidays. As a non-profit, part of our mission is also to share our resources with educare centres in townships across the greater Cape Town area. We’d love to welcome your family to Stepping Stones.
