The Toddler House began life in October 2020 as a small, hands-on playgroup for children aged 18 months to 4 years. Founder Mel brings 11 years of experience working with babies and toddlers, having run her own Baby and Toddler programme in Somerset West throughout that time. A mother of two — Deegan, 17, and Jayden, 12 — Mel’s genuine passion lies in working alongside children, and she can usually be found right in the middle of the action doing what she loves most. Opening her own playgroup, and making a positive difference in every child who walks through her doors, had long been a personal dream come true.
