Every school listed on Find My Nursery already gets a free, dedicated profile: real information, photos, reviews, WhatsApp, contact details and directions, without needing to build a website first. That’s been true since day one, and it isn’t changing.

What we’ve just launched goes further. A Premium School Webpage, built as a proper alternative to a standalone school website, designed around how parents actually research a nursery school, and how small ECD centres and preschools operate day to day.

Why we built it this way

Most small nursery schools and creches in South Africa don’t have a marketing team, and plenty don’t have a website at all. Either the cost or the ongoing maintenance puts it out of reach. Meanwhile parents are doing most of their research on a phone, often in short bursts between school drop-offs and work. A generic brochure site doesn’t solve either problem. So instead of a template, we built a page structured around the actual decision a parent is making, using the same real data every Find My Nursery listing already collects.

What’s on the page

  • A dedicated, single school webpage. Not a shared template, a real profile built around that specific school’s identity, colours and content.
  • A verified reviews carousel. Real parent reviews, swipeable rather than buried behind a “see more” click.
  • A full photo and video gallery, with separate tabs for photos and video so a school can show a proper walkthrough, not just still images.
  • An enrolment status indicator. Enrolling Now, Limited Spaces, Waitlist Open, Fully Booked or Tours Available, pulled live from the school’s own dashboard rather than a badge someone forgot to update months ago.
  • Directions and a sticky WhatsApp button, both one tap away on mobile, since that’s how most enquiries actually start.
  • Book a Tour and Send Enquiry actions, built directly into the page rather than routed through a generic contact form.
  • Parent-facing FAQs, answering the practical questions parents actually ask before they call: fees, hours, age groups, what’s included.
  • A Highlights section covering the school’s educational philosophy (Montessori, play-based, Reggio Emilia, Christian and others), amenities (swimming pools, CCTV, sensory gardens and more, over 30 tracked facility types), therapy and support services where offered, and specific activities on offer.
  • Special offers and promotions, shown as a dated, current block instead of a permanent banner that quietly goes stale.
  • A school registration number field, for schools that want to display it as a trust signal.
  • Instagram, TikTok and website links, alongside the school’s own contact actions.
  • Structured data (schema.org markup) built into every page, so search engines and AI assistants can read accurate, structured facts about the school directly instead of guessing from unstructured text.
  • Four colour theme variants, so a school’s page reflects its own brand instead of looking identical to every other listing.

All of this is live functionality, tested against real school listings before we rolled it out further.

Nothing here needs a developer

What we care about most is what happens after the page goes live. A school can update its own information, add a photo, change copy, or add a new promotion directly from its own Find My Nursery dashboard, with no developer and no waiting on a ticket. The dashboard is mobile-friendly too, so a principal or owner can make a change from their phone between classes.

That’s the actual point: keeping the page current should be easier than running a traditional website, not harder.

Built to be accessible, not exclusive

This is a paid, Premium feature, but it was deliberately built to be within reach of smaller ECD centres that can’t justify commissioning and maintaining a standalone website. The idea is to replace that cost entirely, not sit alongside it as another expense.

Quick summary
  • Every school still gets a free profile. This doesn’t change.
  • Premium adds a dedicated, single school webpage built around real data: reviews, live availability, galleries, tour booking, FAQs, amenities and more.
  • Schools manage everything themselves from their own mobile-friendly dashboard. No developer needed.
  • Built to be an affordable alternative to a standalone website, especially for smaller ECD centres.
Is the Premium School Webpage a replacement for having my own website?

Yes, that’s the intent. It’s built to be a genuine alternative to commissioning and maintaining a standalone website, particularly for smaller ECD centres where that cost isn’t practical.

Do I need a developer to update my Premium page?

No. Every field on the page, from information and photos to copy and promotions, is editable directly from your own Find My Nursery dashboard, including from a mobile phone.

Does the free listing still exist?

Yes. Every school on Find My Nursery still gets a free, dedicated profile. Premium is an upgrade on top of that, not a replacement for it.
